In collaboration with the University of Surabaya (UBAYA), Petra Christian University (PCU) has been entrusted to host the National Multiplication Training (NMT) 2026. NMT is a national leadership development program designed to equip leaders of Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) in Indonesia with transformational capabilities to navigate the complex challenges of educating Generation Z while preparing for the dynamics of Generation Alpha. Through an innovative peer-learning model, the program focuses on strategic issues such as artificial intelligence (AI), mental health, and leadership agility in response to the growing complexity of higher education governance.

The key objective of the course is to bring together approximately 25 university leaders from private universities across Indonesia to strengthen their capacity in facing the challenges of leadership in a rapidly changing higher education landscape. Core topics such as strategic faculty management, financial management, quality assurance, and leadership will form the backbone of this course.

This initiative training program is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through the Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) initiative, a joint program between DAAD and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The program also receives support from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, which is committed to strengthening leadership capacity in higher education.

The NMT program is designed for 25 elite leaders from private universities across Indonesia. Our participants are key decision-makers who are shaping the future of their institutions.

Each of the 25 elected leaders will only be responsible for covering their own transportation expenses to and from their respective cities. All training costs, meals, and accommodation will be sponsored by DAAD & BMZ.
